It’s your birthday

Oh heey! It’s my birthday.

Another era has passed and I’m getting yet another year on my back. 22. twentytwo. Well, I guess it’s all good. It’s actually raining today, which is a disappointment – I’ve been blessed with sun almost every year on my birthday, but it’s a nice day for staying in and chilling with some films and coffee.
Tonight I’ve got a date, film and a movie, with the only man in my life; my papa.

Coming back home to Norway was nice, haven’t had a single moment to be bored. Friends, family, appointments and fun. Got my little cousin visiting today, which is lovely. Can’t say I miss Falmouth just yet! So bring on the good times.

Falifornia Love

And here is a little montage I made two weeks ago, as you all know I love to film my mates when they have no clue, stick it together, add some hot tunes and post it online. A little bit weird, but people seem to enjoy it. I am going to miss all these people, the place and the amazing stuff we do together. 29th of June is the day I am heading back to Norway, and I’m not returning until September. It is sad, but I can’t wait to see all my friends and family back home..

The Painter

Hello,

A couple of days ago, I finally got my grades for this year. It was a good year, and I got good grades. I am an average 2:1 student (for everyone outside UK: a B student), but I was so lucky to get a 1st (an A) for my film. Thanks to a lot of hard work and a good group of people, we managed to make an interesting and beautiful 5 minute short. I would love to post it here, but since we have entered the film into festivals, that has to wait. But I will give you a sneak-a-peek.

Thank you to Mars, Amanda, Josh, Rory and Charlotte for the effort. And a big thank you to Emma and Mark for the brilliant acting.

My only goal now is to save up money so I can get my hans on a Canon 5D/7D for next year. Because, the irony is; those cameras have better film quality than the huge, expensive and oh-so-technical P2 cameras that we are supposed to be using.

Livet

Har plutselig blitt så opptatt med ting og tang, og bloggen har desverre blitt nedprioritert. Jeg vet hvor frustrerende det er, noen av mine favoritt blogger kan plutselig stå stille i flere uker – og jeg blir bare mer og mer forbannet.

Men jeg skal oppdatere internett verden med hva den virkelige verden, min virkelige verden, består av om dagen.

Vel, jeg er i London om dagen, mer spesifikt, i Nord London. Jeg bor hos en jente som hete Kate, som jeg også bor med i Falmouth. Vi har vært sosiale og late i over en uke nå; sove 12 timer hver dag, ligge i solen og lese bøker (eller spille kabal på iPaden, så avhengig!), ut på middager, konserter, bbq’s eller puber. Puh! Er jo så fint at vi har en måned med påskeferie..

Så ikveld skal vi på jazz konsert og drikke martinies mens vi koser oss i mørket med Obama’s favoritt musiker. Det skal bli koselig. Etter å ha opplevd London fra bakdøren har jeg falt enda mer for byen. Selv om det ikke er en livsstil man burde bli for vant med.

Så igjen, beklager for dårlig nettskikk. Det kommer bedre og lengre innlegg snart..

Exuse moi

I’m SO sorry, I must be the worlds worst person ever. I’ve totally forgot about my dear online diary. The reason for this is basically that the day doesn’t seem long enough anymore. I’ve buried myself in work, reading film articles, watching film, making films, writing about films and discussing films. And I love it. And I have, awkward enough, become a gym-freak. I am sweating and pumping every day, and it gives me so much energy and joy.

 

 

But hey! On friday I’m invited to this AMAZING party, the theme is: (drumroll) Lords Of Dogtown and The Z-Boys. I can not wait. Here are some pictures that I’ve used as inspiration for my “outfit”
